CRYOCRATE C80EZ MAMALIAN CRYOMEDIA 100ML
C80EZ® Mammalian is intended for the cryopreservation of mammalian cells across an array of types. The media uniquely achieves predominant formation of nanoscale cubic ice during freezing, in contrast to the formation of large hexagonal ice in traditional cryopreservation media. The nanoscale ice attenuates cell mechanical damage due to extracellular ice formation and significantly improves the post-thaw viability and functionalities of cell types that traditionally survive poorly from cryopreservation. When C80EZ® is used for storage of samples in liquid nitrogen, it facilitates long-distance transportation in dry ice boxes (instead of using expensive liquid nitrogen dry shippers) by minimizing cell loss due to recrystallization during transfer and warming processes from liquid nitrogen facilities to dry ice boxes. C80EZ® does not contain any animal or human derived component (e.g., serum), its replacement (e.g., serum replacement), or protein (e.g., albumin).
